It’s getting very cold in Winnipeg as winter moves in. The Ducks, a sweet little family of Talking Ducks, need to go somewhere warm. Follow Mommy Duck, Daddy Duck, and their children Angela, Luke, and Crystal Duck on a whirlwind adventure as they migrate south. Sweet-natured, entertaining, and sneakily educational, The Talking Ducks incorporates charming characters, gentle thrills, and even a touch of science for young readers.
After achieving 100% on her Grade-12 Provincial English Exam, Meagan Balgobin enrolled at the University of Manitoba. She currently plans to pursue Administration. She has a previously published poem and loves to travel even more than the Duck Family does. Meagan has been writing since she was seven years old, which is when the Talking Duck Family idea first came to her. The Talking Ducks is the first book in a planned series.
