Grandma's Cabin

This story takes place in the eighteen hundreds at the home of Beth Miller and her family. Life on the farm is often eventful with the love they have for each other reflected in how they live their lives. Follow the story of Beth Miller, her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Ben Smith and their children, Esther, Tim, Betsy, and Johnny, as they experience life in the late 1800’s.

The author Marilyn Wiebe was raised in northern Alberta, Canada. She continues to live in this area where she enjoys tending to her fruit trees and working in her garden. Her children and grandchildren also add great joy to her life. Marilyn has always found a great interest in reading and learning about history. As result of twisting her ankle she was given time for personal reflection. Through this she received inspiration to start writing.
