Destiny Calls
Book 1 of the Anandrian Series
by Kathryn Heaney

Snatched into a magical dimension by a demon, art student Laura Evans has to grapple with the unimaginable. Lucifer wants to destroy her soul because, apparently, she's all that stands between him and total domination over all creation. People here say she is their saviour and it’s up to her to save the universe with her new found powers of healing. And then there's a man, determined to protect her. He claims that not only is she his soul mate, but his wife! Really? He's persistent - and is very convincing…Could it all be true?

“Fans of Paranormal Dystopian Romance won’t be able to put Destiny Calls down! Prepare to lose sleep as you join sassy Laura and warrior Vaaron on their wild adventures. Written with great humour and refreshing creativity, Destiny Calls is a five-star page turner that sizzles!” —Mary Metcalfe, bestselling Amazon author

Kathryn Heaney was born and raised in Hamilton Ontario. She traipsed around the country during her extensive teaching career, from the small northern town of Chetwynd, in British Columbia, to Rosseau Lake, in Ontario's cottage country, and finally to Pickering on the outskirts of Toronto. In the process of all those moves, she had two wonderful daughters, who turned out to be the inspiration for the Anandrian series. Keeping with the family theme, Kathryn has used most of her family members for the characters in all the Anandrian books. It is interesting how the meanings of their names have helped to shape this intriguing story. Kathryn has retired from teaching and has moved back home to Hamilton where she fulfills her love for books by working part-time at the library.
