Suffering in Silence
Closed mouth, Imprisoned thoughts
by JaQuel D. Blanchard

Suffering in Silence: Closed Mouth, Imprisoned Thoughts is a collection of rhyme schemed poetry addressing some of the harbored feelings related to the different growing experiences of a child, adolescent, and adult. It ventures inside the mind of the infant, toddler, preteen, adolescent, young adult, and adult to find the words rarely ever expressed while journeying through the different stages of development. It discusses a wide variety of topics starting with the growing pains of a child and followed by the functional or dysfunctional friendships, relationships and marriages of adults, and concludes with the moment of truth found in the discovery of self.
