Marvelous Tales
A Collection of Unusual Short Stories
by
Ross Randall Johnson
Marvelous Tales features an eclectic mix of short-stories, each with its own set of relatable characters, that inspires a range of emotions just as diverse as the protagonists and their respective worlds. From suburban America to a mystical winter wonderland, the reader is taken on a journey through a number of intriguing landscapes. Whether it’s the optimistic humor of “Dancing to Sunday” or the youthful perseverance of “Jars Full of Angels”, Marvelous Tales offers something for everyone.
Ross Randall Johnson graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in political science. Although he enjoys studying civics and social sciences, his love of writing has been lifelong. He credits his experience as editor of the news section of his high school newspaper with greatly improving his attention to detail. When he’s not writing short stories, Johnson dedicates his time to music (playing, composing, and producing), working on collaborative endeavors, and solo projects. Now a graduate student, juggling his time between scholastic obligations and his writing, Johnson resides in Marquette, Michigan. He is currently in the process of finishing the first in a series of novels, titled Remnants of the Armada.
