The author spent 20 years employed with Revenue Canada in Toronto as a Field Auditor, Appeal Officer and finally, a Special Investigator. In the following 25 years he practiced his accounting profession in public practice. He served on the Council of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and produced two tax courses for the Ontario Institute, ”Undergoing a Tax Audit ” and “The Objection and Appeal Process”. He was the author of many tax issues in newspapers, magazines and articles including The Financial Post. He was known for being an outspoken critic of some of the policies of Revenue Canada on TV, the newspapers, and radio.
