About the Author Katie is a first-time author who was inspired by the phrase “curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back.” She aims to teach children that curiosity should be celebrated, as it can lead to richer, more fulfilling lives. Katie holds a degree in Environmental Sciences and Economics and Policy and works as a sustainability professional. She is based on the west coast of Canada, where she enjoys exploring the natural world with her young family. About the Illustrator Susan is an artist and designer based in Toronto, Ontario. Her art is inspired by surrealism, fairy-tales, and the natural world working in multiple mediums such as digital art, acrylic paint, and graphite. She holds a degree in Architecture and a master’s in Landscape Architecture where she champions play for all ages and environmental stewardship.
