"The Magic Forest" is the first in a series of books entitled " The Adventures of Fig and Mirabelle", a story that focuses on two tabby cats and their adventures. Fig has a relentless desire for adventure, Mirabelle is not so enthusiastic but tags along anyway.The story follows their precarious journey and the different characters they meet along the way, their experiences and the lessons they learn. Follow the adventures of these two friendly cats Fig and Mirabelle as they venture into the dark forest and happen to discover some magic!

Born in Staffordshire, England in 1961, Anita Amos spent many happy hours as a child playing in the garden, at the farm, down by the river and exploring the woodlands nearby. Immersed in drawing and her love of nature, she collected plants and animals to draw and study. Her Art career started early in England, eventually moving to America which is where she now resides in the Beautiful Monterey Peninsula. It is there that she gathers much of the inspiration needed for her children's books, beautifully illustrated by her own watercolors.
