Cat's Reading
by B. G. Minty

A psychic in possession of a magical table. A woman searching for the son she’s never met. Evil walking the Earth in many disguises. From a small town in Ontario to an obscure mountain in Tibet, a motley group of individuals will be sent hurtling toward the adventure of a lifetime. When Cat Barkwell turns fifty, she thinks going to see an enigmatic psychic will be a fun diversion. When the psychic reveals a secret from her childhood, it comes with an ominous warning. This sends Cat on a quest to fix her mistakes from the past, and to save someone’s life before it’s too late. Cat's Reading is a supernatural tale about dreams, magic, murder, and mystery. The twists and turns along the way include a lonely man and a parrot, a mall shooting, a crazy daytime tabloid show, and a haunted tunnel. The strange events beginning in a town in southern Ontario, would end on the other side of the world and beyond.

B. G. Minty has always enjoyed writing, but other than letters to the editor, he never found the time to make a serious attempt at it until he retired. With work behind him, he decided to use his fondness for an unusual story with interesting characters and put his imagination to work. When he isn’t writing, Minty enjoys bird watching, gardening, and collecting rare classic films and documentaries. He lives in St. Catharines, Ontario, with his wife, Kris, and a lazy calico cat named Zoey.
