Andrew Sloane’s life changed when he left his native U.K. at age twenty-one to travel to Australia on a working holiday visa in 1989. Since then, he has lived and worked in several countries and explored over twenty more while holding various types of visas and permits. His work-life has been diverse: he has been a dishwasher, bean picker, auto parts representative, charity worker, and project administrator, eventually running his own consultancy. Today, Andrew is happily settled in Canada with his wife Lynn and their children Rachel, Daniel, and Joshua.
