Aditi Jasra (formally Sharma) was born in India and now lives in Coquitlam, BC, Canada with her family (husband, 3 children: a pre-teen, a teenager and a fur-baby) and has travelled the world to observe interactions between human beings. She is a Canadian certified (CCC), registered clinical counsellor (RCC), with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology with several additional certifications including training in the EFT model of couples therapy. She also has a strong foundation in the theories and techniques that are most effective in supporting couples and relationships from a cultural perspective. At her practice, Wellness North Counselling in Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada, Aditi and her colleagues work with individuals, couples and families to address a wide range of issues, examining relationships from an attachment lens while applying different models ranging from family systems, Gottman to EFT to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes. This approach allows her, her students and her team to get a deeper understanding of the underlying dynamics at play and assist her to develop tailored treatment plans that are specifically designed to meet the needs of folks she supports. She is continuously working on improving her own relationships with friends and family and upgrading them to a better version.
