Brian Krushel, BTh, MDiv, DMin, was a parish minister in Alberta, Canada for thirty-two years. He composed and then told this story every year at the annual Christmas Eve service, to the delight of children of all ages. Brian and his wife Val raised three daughters, all of whom can recite Gabriel's story from memory. Mark Cann and his family live in New Brunswick.
