The Glorious Qur’an: A Book for Human Guidance. It is none but Allah (SWT), Who has emphatically proclaimed without any ifs, that Qur’ān is the “Word of God.” It is too hard for a man of colossal prudence to estimate and reckon the Divine Wisdom of Allah (SWT), Who revealed the Verses of Qur’ān upon an illiterate Prophet (SAW) directly through Archangel Jibra’il (A.S) or through Wahy (Revelation) over a period of twenty three years. Qur’ān is a Scripture with Truth to ponder upon, recite, understand, listen pay heed and seek Allah’s mercy. Allah (SWT) has disclosed Warnings and all kinds of simulations but the disbelievers have denied and rejected them. The Jinns having listened to the Qur’ān and said that it (Qur’ān) is a marvelous Book. But the disbelievers said it is nothing else but magic. Qur’ān leads the Reciters, the listeners and the believers to achieve piety, wipes off the evil from the individuals and collective lives and provides the mankind practical solutions congenial to human nature.
The author of this book, Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed was born in Secunderabad in the year 1934. He is a witness to the three different cultures, the British, the Nizam and the present secular culture of an Independent Republic India, each culture having its own beauties. Mohiuddin Ahmed continued his studies till his graduation in Secunderabad. Due to certain essentialities, he discontinued his further studies, and joined service in Railway Protection Force in 1958 and retired in 1992 as an Assistant Security Commissioner. Dr. Ahmed was the student of St. Mary High School, Secunderabad from the fifth to tenth class. It was here his literary aspirations were founded and developed during the period of his graduation. Soon after retirement he joined in English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad and received M.A degree here. Next, he joined Osmania University, Hyderabad and successfully achieved M.Phil and Ph.D, honours. Mohiuddin Ahmed stands determined to disseminate the illumination he received in the celebrated universities of the country. He has vowed to hearten the ignorant masses to study, understand and know the Truth and lead, successful life on this earth and an eternal life in the Hereafter. May Allah (SWT) be pleased with the altruistic and unselfish services of Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed to the humanity and offer him a place of high order in “Jannah-the Garden of Heavens.” May Allah (SWT) bestow sound wisdom upon the readers of this book to recognize, accept, surrender and submit to the Supreme Commands of Allah the Almighty and accomplish the Divine purpose of their manifestation on this earth. Amen.
