Kristine Lidstone has worked in finance for over thirty years, and in her various roles she became very aware that younger generations lacked basic knowledge in the areas of everyday banking and credit. She became an advocate of educating people on successfully managing their finances and building financial literacy through financial education presentations and workshops for all ages, from Kindergarten to Seniors. Kristine lives in Vernon, British Columbia, with her husband and Golden Retriever, Lincoln. When she is not working, her absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and beautiful grandchildren at their cabin on the lake or cheering them on in all of their sports like soccer, baseball and ringette. Kirsten Regel has worked in the credit union system for over sixteen years. As the mom of two young boys, she recognizes the importance of starting financial education early for kids, in order to set our children up for success in the future. She is passionate about creating engaging educational content like the BOOST superhero characters to help adults kickstart financial conversations with kids in order to help them navigate their own financial futures. Kirsten lives in Kelowna, British Columbia with her family and when she isn’t at work, she is busy playing hockey, coaching her boys in hockey or volunteering and cheering on her husband and kids at their baseball games.
