The Wife, The Dog and Animation
by Scott Baltjes

Previously found on social media and inside birthday cards, Scott’s beloved work is now available as a collection! Featuring such series as Adventure Anne: International Woman of Fortune, Scott Wars, and Bella-Boo: Where Are You?, this first volume includes comics about everything ranging from author’s life as an artist and animator and his wilderness exploits to studio mice—not to mention the wife and the dog. Expect wordplay, holiday cards, search and rescue, marriage, mermaids, figure drawing, dog woes, Hurricane Dorian, and more than a few ghosts—all wrapped up in single-panel comics that highlight the humour in everyday life.

Scott Baltjes is a TV animator with over twenty-five years of experience (and with over twelve as a husband). When he isn’t scribbling, he enjoys hiking, photography, camping, and collecting folklore. He lives out in the sticks of Whites Lake, Nova Scotia, with his wife, Anne, their German Shepherd, Bella, and the ghost of George Wright, victim of the Titanic, who occasionally pops in to check their refrigerator.
