Jonathan and the Curse of Isis
The Fight With the Triangle Gang
by James Bowlby

While exploring the Black Pyramid, Jonathan is confronted by the Goddess ISIS! She states that Jonathan has become too proud. She curses him with a three-part curse: First, he will lose his best friend, Second, he will lose his oldest friend and Third, he will lose his mentor. Jonathan tries to ignore the vision of ISIS, BUT The curse works. Nathan is kidnapped, and his best friend, Jonathan, is at a loss for how to save him. Now, Jonathan and Abdoullah will do anything to get their friend back. They head to the Canadian embassy in Sudan and learn the men who took Nathan are part of a terrorist gang. This only brings more questions for Jonathan. What would Sudanese terrorists want with Nathan? He wishes he could ask the God Khepri for help, but his powers only work in Egypt, not Sudan. Jonathan and Abdoullah enlist the help of friends and family to track the gang down and get Nathan back. Something tells them Nathan won’t be the same when he returns, and they don’t know if they’ll be equipped to help him. Jonathan and a counsellor help Nathan overcome his trauma. The curse continues and Nathan and Jonathan must rescue their friend Abdoullah from another squad of men—men with black triangles on their shoulders. Succeeding, all three of them go back to work for the Egyptologist, but the God SET has other plans and He implements the third curse. What will happen to Jonathan’s mentor?
