Trouble, Trials, and Trust
by Stephanie Kauffman

Having buried her brother less than a month earlier, Stacy Kanner makes her way back to Mayerthorpe, Alberta, to resume a teaching position and begin the healing process as she works through her grief. Her time there is filled with school outings, renewed friendships, and honest conversations with God—along with many tears and times of laughter. When an opportunity comes to travel to Peru, however, Stacy has an important decision to make. After much prayer and wise counsel, Stacy and a newly graduated student, Belinda, pack their bags and head south together for a new adventure. Little do they know that they will land in the middle of a terrorist uprising. Facing death and danger on a regular basis, Stacy soon discovers the supernatural leading of God and learns to depend on Him like never before. When she returns home safely, she’s surprised that her re-adjustment proves to be a difficult, challenging experience. Once again, though, the hand of God rests solidly on her life. Stacy’s adventures continue as she travels to Eastern Canada and also Alaska. A six-month teaching opportunity in Australia rounds out the book’s adventures and takes readers to the other side of the world. Replete with rich description, humour, and an inspiring message, Trouble, Trials, and Trust reminds readers of God’s faithfulness and will fill them with the courage to follow Him and experience all life has to offer!
