One day, Jeremy starts to wonder about what makes him special. He decides to ask his friends what makes them special, but he isn’t sure that he understands their answers. So he asks his teacher at school to help him. She encourages all of the children to share what makes them special. What makes you special? Is it the colour of your hair, or that you can speak French? Or is it that you were made just the way God intended? Join Jeremy as he learns all about what makes us special—and that he is special just the way he is.
Stephanie Haidenschuster works at an elementary school helping children with special needs while also furthering her own educational studies. Working with students has shown her that every child is special, regardless of disability or ability. That belief was cemented when she became a mother and saw that each of her children are different, with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. And that each of them are precious and special! Stephanie lives in Brampton, Ontario, Canada with her husband of twenty plus years. She is a mother to four children: three sons and one daughter.
