Earl's World
Great Canadian Culinary Adventures
by Robin Renaud

Earl and his friends take a cross-country trip to bravely taste all the flavours of Canada. From coast to coast to coast, they visit every province and territory, enjoying different cultures and interesting sights. Along the way, they try cod tongue and smoked salmon, poutine and chocolate-covered potato chips, saskatoon berry pie and akutuq—and much, much more. Come explore the foods of Canada with Earl and his friends. As Earl says, “You never know what you might like, if you don’t give it a try!”

Robin Renaud is a Certified Red Seal chef who enjoys travelling, trying new foods, and learning interesting facts about Canada. She is an avid animal lover and the character of Earl was inspired by an orphaned piglet she once raised on her childhood family farm. She lives in Foresters Falls, Ontario, with her husband, four kids, two dogs, and a variety of other small critters. Pauline Ryzebol studied anthropology at the University of Toronto and is a certified personal support worker. Working as a PSW she loves helping people. In her spare time you can find her cooking up a storm with her husband in the kitchen. She also loves painting and antiquing as well as camping in the great outdoors. Pauline, a cousin to author Robin Renaud grew up just down the road from the family farm where she visited often. She resides in the small historic town of Amherstburg, Ontario with her husband and large extended family.
