God, I Lost My Rainbow
by
Leslie C. Dobson
A young child is sad when she notices her window’s suncatcher is gone. With no rainbow, her room has lost its fizz. Where can it be? She’s lost her joy, but she knows what to do. “Hey, God,” she calls, “can you help me find my rainbow?”
In fun verse, God, I Lost my Rainbow captures a sweet conversation between child and God as they problem-solve where to find the rainbow.
Leslie C. Dobson knew from a young age that she could talk to God at any time, not just when she needed something. Faith has filled her throughout her life, and in hard times she knows she’s never alone. She was inspired to write God, I Lost my Rainbow when she saw a girl and her mother admiring a rainbow in the sky. Years later, after reading it to her grandson, he agreed that the story should be published.
Her other books include 52 Sundays, When You Have the Sniffy Sniffles, You Were Made to Shine, and Hopes, Dreams and Desires. She currently lives in Orillia, Ontario.
