Adventure in Alphabet Land -- US Edition
by
Ann Martino
Take an exciting journey into learning as Kate and Jake enter Alphabet Land, where they are introduced to the names and sounds of all the letters. This unique book uses a variety of educational approaches, including cartoon images that show the shape of the mouth when saying the names of the letters and making their sounds. Children also meet diphthongs and upper and lowercase letters. Visually appealing and delightfully imaginative, Adventure in Alphabet Land will make a valuable addition to every home and school library.
Adventure in Alphabet Land is an outstanding body of work. As a parent, I am thrilled that this will offer my child the ability to explore letters in a fun way suitable for his development. The pictures are colorful and the book is highly interactive. Thank you for this valuable book! I have not seen anything like it. - Stella (Mother) Adventure in Alphabet land takes us on a "sound journey" with Kate and Jake. It shows us how saying each of the 26 letters of the alphabet when pronounced, leaves our mouths unrestricted and obstruction-free using images to show us how the lips, tongue and our mouths should look like. It brings awareness to the movement of the mouth to ensure clarity in pronunciation and easy to understand. With amazing illustrations, Ann Martino engages her readers and learners with a creative and fascinating look into the sound adventures of the alphabet! Yomi (Teacher)
