A Silent Wind
by Eugene DeSantis

This book is a work of fiction targeting those who enjoy mysteries and international themes. Reba Klein was thirteen when her father was murdered by a terrorist. Her entire life goal is to punish those who want to harm Israel. She becomes a Mossad operator and assassin. Peter Shevchenko was a young boy when his parents were killed by the Germans in 1941. After the war, he is sent to KGB school where he learns the English language and is subsequently sent to America in 1965 to pose as a war protester. Later he is promoted to Colonel and heads the security branch. Fast forward to 1978, Col. Shevchenko and his closest associates begin the search for an American traitor and serial killer, Palmer. The traitor’s sole purpose is to harm America and start a Middle Eastern War with the help of a retired Israeli General and Reba Klein. An Ex-CIA agent named Ethan Edwards, an arch enemy of Shevchenko, is brought out of retirement to work with Shevchenko to stop Palmer.

I was born and raised in the New York City area, and attended high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Following graduation, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Special Operations. I have always had a profound interest in American and International history, the rise and fall of empires, as well as the leaders and villains responsible for historical successes and failures. Thrillers, espionage, and historical biographies are my chosen genre in reading. This is my first novel, although the ideas for it have been evolving in my mind for many years. My wife and I live in California with our pup, Abigail, and enjoy living in close proximity to our children and granddaughter.
