Jesus is Israel
The Seed of Abraham is Christ the Church
by
J.E. Gulbrandsen
Grounded in the Word of God and the events of history, JanEgil Gulbrandsen’s latest books, Who Jesus Is and Jesus Is Israel, challenge the traditional Evangelical and dispensationalist understanding of eschatology and the person of Jesus Christ Himself. After years of personal Bible study, reflection, and prayer, Mr. Gulbrandsen realized that an objective reading of the Word of God demands an acknowledgement of Christ as Saviour and judge of Israel, and of the significance of the events in Jerusalem between 65 and 70 AD. When these events are placed in the context of Christ’s purpose and words in the Gospels and the book of Revelation, only one conclusion can be reached. Well organized and clearly written, JanEgil Gulbrandsen’s latest work will provide many “a-ha” moments to clergy and laity alike. It is a book to be approached with an open mind and an open Bible.
Co-founder of a major corporation that is now listed on the Norwegian stock market, JanEgil Gulbrandsen has dedicated the last 10 years of his life to “what the Bible really teaches”. After spending 40 years listening to sermons from the pulpits of different evangelical denominations, Gulbrandsen has found many topics are taught incorrectly. The search for “the biblical objective truth” is a never-ending study. His hope is that by a systematic presentation of what the scriptures say, and using a Holy Spirit-inspired interpretation of its true meaning, we can get a little closer to what God intended for us in His word. Gulbrandsen’s first book, Jesus Delayed, challenges the dispensational theology of a coming tribulation, Anti-Christ, and a Jesus who will “soon return”. The bible clearly teaches that these are events that took place (as Jesus himself prophesied: within a generation of his sacrifice) before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD . God always has something more prepared for us. Yet these blessings require Christians to have an open mind and a willingness to learn. God bless! Gulbrandsen’s new book, Who Jesus is, shows the reader what the New Testament (from Matthew to Revelation) really teaches about our Master and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Unlike many ministers, this book does not focus on a cherry-picked version, but the scriptures as a whole. “Jesus the man” and “Jesus the God” must coexist. For some, this will be a familiar journey; for others it will be harder to accepts this “new” perspective—a perspective that has always existed for anyone that was willing to see. This theology goes back to the early church fathers, primarily the Apostle Paul; it was the accepted theology of the first eighteen-hundred years of Christianity. In other words, our diverged theology of the last two-hundred years—mostly inspired by John Nelson Darby—must be challenged to its core. It is time for Jesus’ truth to come out. The church is ready and hungry for it. This is God’s will. Gulbrandsen encourages his fellow Christians to not just read this book, cover-to-cover, but to study these teachings with an open heart . It will be like the scriptures say: we are going from light to light. “Revelation” has its price. You see better. J.E. Gulbrandsen can be reached by email: gulbrandsen@islandnet.com
