Days of the Week
by
Denise Duguay
Milou, the Yorkie-Pom dog, helps teach children about the days of the week in this charming and colourful book that shows the importance of school and family time. Milou reminds kids that they must study hard so they can be anything they want to be when they grow up, but they also need to make time to play outside with their friends! No matter what day of the week it is, respecting each other's differences and being kind are lessons we all need to learn.
Denise Duguay is an animal-loving author who penned this sweet story from her home in Bathurst, NB, which she shares with Milou, her Yorkie-Pom dog, and her cat, Picotine. Milou is Denise’s beloved companion and the star of her book series, “Teachings by Milou.” Milou loves walks on nature trails, to play in the ocean, rivers or lakes, and enjoys playing with both children and adults. You can follow them on their website www.teachingsbymilou.com. Denise is a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces who spent 25 years in the service. She has spent a total of 32 years living in major centres throughout Canada, but nothing beats the small-town feeling of her hometown and she is thrilled to be living there with her furry friends.
