Raina is a freelance editor and writer in Calgary, Alberta. She and her husband are raising their young son bilingually in Spanish and English. She is studying linguistics and language at the University of Calgary, with a focus on child language acquisition and the bilingual environment. She believes that reading is a magical way to support infants’ language development and maternal wellness. Alex is an illustrator born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He studied at Alberta College of Art and Design. Alex is a bowling champ, who enjoys making cool images and riding bikes. He is half Japanese and half Ukrainian and Romanian, and his family is a noisy, happy, amalgamation of every kind of person, all brought together by family love..
