A Secret or A Surprise?
by
Michelle L. Nelson
A Secret or A Surprise? explains the difference between a secret and a surprise from a child's perspective and is accompanied with simplistic illustrations. It explains what children should do if someone asks them to keep a secret; especially if an adult asks them to keep a secret.
Born and raised in St. Thomas, Ontario, Michelle grew up in a home with a lot of secrets. It is Michelle's wish that no child grows up in a home where the adults ask the children to keep secrets. This is the basis for her book: A Secret or A Surprise? Michelle enjoys playing sports, spending time with close friends and exploring the world around her with her two small dogs, Amie and Buttercup.
