A Basketball Wish

William loves the game of basketball. He has always dreamed of playing one day. But due to his medical condition, his dreams of ever playing basketball have been smashed. His mother, Iva was shocked when she overheard him talking about his dreams to his friend. What will Iva do? She always wants the best for her son. Will his parents help to fulfill his dreams and make him happy? Or will they continue on as they already do?
Donna Christie was born and grew up in the Bahamas. She moved to Canada in 1981, to pursue her education in Journalism, but later received her BA Degree in Sociology and Math from McMaster University. She is presently residing in Hamilton, Ontario, and enjoys writing short stories, music, and lyrics. Her passion for writing children’s books has inspired and motivated her to educate children into reading more. Writing is where she loses herself and expresses her true feelings.
