A Manual for Developing a Child's Love of Reading
J. Stanley Cummings
A HALF-HOUR A DAY Spending just 30 minutes each day introducing and reading books aloud to your child is one of the most valuable gifts you can provide during the pre-kindergarten and early school years. It may even be the single most important time you spend leading to your child’s success in school and in college. Make room for those minutes. You will be glad you did and so will your child.
J. Stanley Cummings. Stan lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Clare. Following two years of school in Switzerland, he attended and graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Masters and Doctorate at the University of Massachusetts. He worked for several years in Cairo, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Stan also worked as a Financial and Development Officer at a Massachusetts community college.
