Mitzie Holstein is a Jamaican-American New Yorker with a very active poetic muse in her heart and soul. For years, she has had a deep yearning to express her thoughts, desires and feelings through poetry and has shared them with colleagues, family and friends. An elementary teacher, Ms. Holstein also uses poetry to incite the love of writing in her students. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two sons.
