Davy Asks His Dad
by
Harriet Clark
Did you ever want to do something but realized it was too difficult to do by yourself? That’s what Davy does in this story. He finds a toy truck that is very broken down and he tries to fix it with his own tools and in his own way. Everything he does fails. You read the story for yourself and see if you would do what he does.
Harriet Clark once lived on a farm in California where her mom would read her stories by the fireplace. She now lives in a cold and chilly place called Saskatchewan, Canada where she reads stories to her grandchildren. Her favorite things to do are to watch the billowy clouds in the huge sky where she lives, take pictures of children and write stories about them.
