24 Tales of Natural Healing
by Cedar Offermann

Herein lies hope for people tired of suffering with physical ailments and unhappiness. 24 Tales of Natural Healing is a collection of stories about healing events which I have facilitated and witnessed over the last 40 years. I share these stories because I wish to demonstrate that there is indeed reliable help and comfort to be found in nature's abundant pharmacopoeia. Having lived 7 years completely off grid and many more in fairly remote woodsy places, I have learned to care for physical ailments or injury using wild herbs and whole foods. I recovered myself from the results of four nervous breakdowns, digestive issues, broken bone and many more challenging conditions. I also supported those around me in resolving and managing arrhythmia, trauma wounding, skin cancer, herniating discs, gout and more. Some truly miraculous healings took place and I'm very grateful. The herbs have never let me down. I'm so grateful for all the medicine nature provides and I hope to inspire you to explore this rich world of solace, solutions and connection to Gaia. I wish for you to find well being on all levels, and to fully enjoy your precious life. This book is intended to inspire you to walk your healing journey, discover your herbal allies and begin to transform your experience of life from one of struggle to one of well-being and joy.

I am so honored to write this testimonial for Cedar and the healings she facilitated. I personally don't know anyone as devoted to Gaia and to healing and the wild crafting way. She truly walks her talk when it comes to natural healing, and is a living example of its effectiveness. The healings she facilitated for me and herself, and others in her life have powerfully demonstrated to me just how reliable and consistent herbal and whole food medicine is....and without a long list of miserable side effects! The only side effects are renewed vitality and youthing. Creator has provided us with so much abundance in the natural world and so many opportunities to trust in nature and heal. Cedar has seized those opportunities and healed herself. Her life long passion to help others heal and to always learn more deeply how to do that, offers us all a deeper insight into what's possible, and an opportunity to deeply heal into wholeness on all levels.

All my life nature has been my comfort and my saving grace. I have been growing gardens and picking herbs and healing myself since 1988, and out of the "work force" for most of my adult life. I grew up in Vancouver B.C. and upon reaching adulthood, promptly high tailed it to the bush. There I raised four wonderful children along with gardens and goats! Over the years I studied first degree Reiki in Kaslo B.C., and later Chinese Medicine Theory, deep tissue and joint release massage and physiology with Heather Bury at Clearheart Bodywork. I then attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2014 and became a certified Integrative Nutrition coach. At this present delightful stage of my life I generally spend my time growing food, picking, drying and storing herbs, enjoying my nine grandchildren and enjoying the beautiful environment here by Kootenay Lake in the West Kootenay B.C.
