Born To Fly
Humans are Not Born to Creep and to Crawl on Earth like Caterpillars. We are Born to Transform into Butterflies
by Bahram Spitama

Human beings are not born to creep and craw on Earth like caterpillars. They are born to transform into butterflies and become free. Through intention, learning, and wisdom, this freedom is possible for each one of us. Throughout history, the wisdom of Zarathustra has spread and impacted a variety of different belief systems. His wisdom has inspired and guided Greeks, Romans, Jews, Muslims, and Christians. Before the time of Zarathustra, people worshiped many gods and goddesses. They worshiped different gods for rain, prosperity, health, sunshine, earthquakes, or floods. Zarathustra challenged the old tradition of the Indo-European religions that was practiced before him and created an awareness and movement that eventually became the dominant religion in Persia. From the Zarathustra’s perspective, everyone has choices in life, and every choice comes with a consequence. The way of Zarathustra is a guide to understanding and making choices that lead to freedom. Central to Zarathustra’s teaching is the philosophy “good thoughts, good words, good deeds.” That is the way to life and freedom. There is more to being human than just existing. In these pages, you will find ways to think about your purpose and your existence from the perspective of body, mind, and spirit.
