Andy Hain is an outdoors enthusiast, avid hiker, and talented photographer with an eye for capturing nature’s tranquil beauty. His love of Southern Ontario’s countryside began as a child, and since then, he has spent countless hours enjoying the peace and quiet of the province’s majestic parks and trails. As a photographer, Andy aims to take nature lovers on a relaxing journey where everyday stress melts away. Nothing would make him happier than a reader getting lost in a daydream of strolling right into one of his photographs. A Glimpse of Southern Ontario Outdoors is Andy’s first photographic collection. He has one son with his late wife, who lost her battle with cancer in 2014. He lives in Burlington ON with his son. Charles Hain kindly provided expressive sentiments and reflections that thoughtfully adds a dimension to the images in this collection. Charles appreciates the outdoors and has logged thousands of kilometers on both road- and mountain-bikes in Delaware, British Colombia, Quebec, and Ontario and has a bucket list goal of somehow riding at least 200 kms in every Canadian province and territory. When not on one of his bicycles, Charles cooks professionally, performs wedding ceremonies and sits on the volunteer board of a long-term care home. Charles lives in Toronto with his wife and ever more ancient cat, Chimo.
