The book is designed to address questions from its young readership regarding what takes place at a mechanical shop with a necessary part of life, car maintenance. The book depicts a local mechanic as he goes through the steps involved in a conventional oil change with the realization other vehicles require synthetic or semisynthetic treatments. This book will help with the development of responsible car owners of the future and help answer young inquiring minds' questions.
Neva Westcott is a new writer and resides in Spa Springs, Nova Scotia, Canada. She and her husband own and operate Westcott Service Center Ltd. of Wilmot Station, Middleton Nova Scotia and have been owners of the automotive repair business for twenty one years. Neva is a former instructor of cosmetology at the local Community College and a fultime homemaker presently, having owned and operated salons in Bridgetown and Lawrencetown in the past. She and her husband have two adult children.
