Emotions Redeemed
Women Reclaiming Emotional Health Through Christ
by Covette J. Hamilton

Anger, fear, low self-esteem, bitterness, envy, guilt—real life emotions as experienced through the eyes of women who need a healing touch from God. Meet Angry Arlene, Fearful Francine, and many others who grapple with negative emotions brought about by life experiences. But then … God. Emotions Redeemed: Women Reclaiming Emotional Health Through Christ provides hope for women struggling with their emotional health. In the midst of the suffering and angst, the empowering attributes of the greatest emotion of all—love—are revealed through a close study of the Word of God. Readers will connect with a new woman in each chapter, all of which conclude with motivating and engaging activities and scriptures, providing readers with the steps required to begin the healing process in their lives. With Christ at the centre, filling our hearts with His love, we can all experience the victory of a new life in Him.

Over the course of her teaching career, Covette J. Hamilton met many girls and young women who struggled with negative and unhealthy emotions. Driven to help them, she devoted her time to researching emotional health and developing an approach to healing that was practical and biblically based. Emotions Redeemed: Women Reclaiming Emotional Health Through Christ was born out of that research, and it’s Covette’s prayer that, through it, many lives will be touched by the love and power of Christ. Covette has also authored two juvenile fiction books: Begethie Wenferd Meets Blackbeard in 2010 and Begethie Wenferd Meets King Tut in 2012. An avid reader and writer of short stories, she lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband. They have three children and three grandchildren.
