Man Power: Birth of the Supermen
What if World War II never really ended? A secret German Army, the Iron Cross, existed. Not even Hitler knew of them. Yet the Iron Cross succeeded in cloning humans and was tasked with raising an army of supermen. Hiding their submersible base in the heart of the Bermuda Triangle, they waited for the next rise of the German Superpower. As the 1960’s approach, it’s clear that Germany was not going to rise again any time soon. The Iron Cross set a new mission to weaken the World through economics. For the next sixty years they plotted and worked behind the scenes to bring down America and the World from within. Finally ready to strike, they cripple the American society in one day. Now with only hours until their final victory only a small handful of heroes stand in their way...
“I am so excited that I met you and your wife. It was over a year ago that we met and collaborated in a thought I had in my mind about creating a Bible comic hero. It was through your conscience knowledge of what a hero should be and being able to see the hero (as though you could read my mind) that the perfect hero character was develop and Captain Faith was born. Then with your guidance, you turned my second idea into a reality by producing the character transformation from Captain Faith to a sci-fi hero Faith Warrior, both of which are now being read all over the world. It is people like you and your wife that lend yourselves into the projects of your customer that bring our products to the media with excitement. We move from artists and customer to a creative family. I thank God for placing you two into my life. I pray that you have much success and God bless you.” Dr. Alfredo Noble.
Matthew O'Keefe is an illustrator and creator of comics and graphic novels. Telling sequential stories through drawing came naturally since early childhood. He attended Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario Canada and has progressively worked towards a career in Illustration. He’s drawn comic art for Noble Comics’ series, “Captain Faith” and “Faith Warrior”. Matthew has also illustrated seven stories for a children's book author. In 2015, Matthew started Online Comic Heroes (www.OnlineComicHeroes.com). His business features his own signature title and character Man Power. The initial concepts for his character, Man Power, were first put together in the late 1990's while still in high school. But it was through the support and encouragement of his wife, Catherine, that he launched his signature character and title into a published comic series. The comic series currently has twelve issues available and continues to grow. At the Toronto ComiCon 2016, Matthew debuted two of his complete graphic novel collections of the Man Power series. He has also recently had his work featured on a Superhero Comics Contest presented by Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment and on “The Fall of Canada”, a Tom Clancy's The Division Fan Art Collaborative. Matthew, his wife Catherine, and family of pets live in the countryside north of Muskoka, Ontario.
