Prepare the Way for Him
Removing the obstacles in ourselves and in the Church
by
Katherine de Vos
What are some of the obstacles to the Lord’s fuller presence in ourselves and in the Church? How might I be compromising His presence? Are there behaviour patterns in our church that inhibit His work? Through a series of questions and reflections, Prepare the Way for Him takes a short but sweeping look at some basic human and spiritual issues. Written in a concise, engaging style, the booklet is designed to stimulate personal reflection and corporate discussion on how we can better honour Him and grow the Church.
Katherine de Vos was born in Scotland and spent her childhood in South Africa before moving to Canada. She has spent nearly four decades in the Church—as a Protestant, an Anglican, and now a Roman Catholic—in a variety of lay ministry functions, both in Canada and overseas. She has held positions in communications in both the private and public sectors in Europe and North America. With a B.A. in modern languages and music, she has also pursued academic studies in psychology and theology. She currently lives and works in Ottawa, Canada as a public affairs advisor. Prepare the Way for Him is her first published book.
