How to Pray for Revival
by John Michael Longstaff

In this life we can know the love of God. When we do have a relationship with our Lord we are responsible to share the great gift that was freely given to us. As a Christian you will find this book to be inspirational and instructional on how to pray for revival of faith for those who are without hope and knowledge of God. We are called from bondage into mission: "You shall be to Me a kingdom of Priests" Exodus.19:5,6. This book will provide instruction on prayer for the Holy Spirit to come upon your city, your country and virtually the world. You will become familiar with a historical perspective of past revivals when men and who have prayed for revival saw the miraculous growth in numbers of people who wanted, and needed to know about God's grace. This book teaches that success requires commitment and prayer as you must be committed to God and to revival. Pastor Longstaff has witnessed significant church growth in South Africa as a result of prayer and caring for others. We are commissioned under the Kings call, Matthew 28: 18-20. We are called to pray, to fast, to intercede for others and to stand firm on God's promises. Matthew 13:37, 38 "The field is the world." Go now and sow.

The author John Michael Longstaff is a man of God who has lived a rewarding and long life as a Christian. He enjoyed his first carer in the British army as a Major. He married in his twenties and learned about the world of occult through his wife's family. The spirit world was then an unknown to him and he witnessed it's negative influence in his wife and her health. It was then that he dedicated his life to Christ and trained to become an Anglican Priest. In a relatively short time after this, he became a Baptist minister. He and with his wife moved to South Africa where he taught high school students. After the death of his wife he married a christian widow named Norma who had three teenage sons. In South Africa John Michael Longstaff pastored a Baptist church. In time, he and Norma partnered in the ministry of exorcism in addition to his family counselling and church leadership. Pastor Longstaff loves his family and the Lord. He lost his wife about twelve years ago and since then has written this book, and one other titled How to Wage Spiritual Warfare which is a subject that he is also deeply familiar. Today, his main focus is to pray for his family, friends, the church, and the world.
