After finding inspiration in a single blended salt, Virginia Marion launched her business, The Salt Cellar, in 2010. A graduate of the cooking program at Toronto’s George Brown College, Virginia gets tremendous satisfaction out of exploring innovative uses of the ancient ingredient.
Virginia spent ten years cooking in commercial settings, including her own restaurant. She holds a Master of Education degree and has also taught cooking to high school students. Now she’s ready to share her skills and experiences with you!
Virginia lives with her partner, Will, and their beloved border collie, Emma, in rural southern Alberta. She has two grown sons.
