How I Loved You is a collection of poetry celebrating and reflecting on love in its many forms and the impacts love has on us all. It is intended as a guide, an inspiration, and as a companion to all those who are learning about love, learning about themselves, and trying to grow. The poems will appeal a young adult audience.

Samantha Best makes her writing debut with her poetry collection How I Loved You. Throughout her life in the small suburban city of Brantford, Ontario, she has—as many other young individuals have—ridden the roller coaster of emotional turmoil that manifests itself in early relationships as well as ever-changing friendships. She draws on these experiences with different types of love in an effort to share part of her being. During her journey, she has been writing poetry and music and has finally decided to publish her work to hopefully help and act as a relatable guide during the trials and tribulations of life.
