Poetry in Black & White
by Anthony Di Micco

snowflakes falling softly into a pool of silence. A black crow silhouetted against the full moon, a perfect café latte, a mother and child in a warzone, Poetry in Black & White is a book of miniature paintings-with-words, using the tools of poetry and the palette of the human heart. Written during the covid lockdowns of 2021-22, poems also paint devastating portraits of the war in Ukraine. Written in free verse and often with a dry sense of humour, Poetry in Black & White is insightful, accessible poetry which will appeal to an adult audience. Books by the Author: Poetry in Black & White is Anthony Di Micco’s fourth book of poetry. Previous publications include Expressions of the Heart, The Four Seasons—Beyond Autumn Leaves on the Other Side of the Moon, and a children’s book entitled Halloween.
