Karen Martin and her son Jamison wrote Mommy & Me During Covid-19 when schools shut down for four months in the spring of 2020. She took time off work to homeschool him, and that time together inspired the events of the book. Jamison is 9 years old, and currently in Grade 4. This is Karen's second published book, after Your Life, Your Success, and her first kid’s book. Karen and Jamison live in a small town in Alberta, Canada.
