Watchful Wishing Whirling Wanda's Whale Pleas!
by Mary Catherine Rolston

Wanda watches wistfully wishing while whirling and twirling along sandy shores in hopes of seeing a whale. Coincidentally the whales seem to respond but who sees these whales sightings? This rhyming story celebrates a little girl’s optimistic determination to discover the awestruck wonder of one the largest animals in the world.

This wonderful whimsical story captures the wishful determination of young Wanda as she waits by the seaside. The story line and real-to-life illustrations seize the imagination of all ages and remind us of our responsibility to protect these magnificent mammals. Karen Juckes Pediatric nurse & grandmother
