Rubee Potter was raised in the Manitoba Interlake area near Steep Rock. She spent many years collecting rocks with her mother. She likes to paint rocks that are shaped like animals and birds but her mother only put eyes on rocks that look like different creatures and things. This story is about her mother's rocks.
